Blue Tungsten Oxide
Description
Blue tungsten oxide refers to a class of dark blue compound containing tungsten (Ⅵ) and tungsten (V) mixed valence state.
Characteristics
Blue tungsten oxide is the product of reductant and tungsten compounds. Composition of blue tungsten oxide is complex, among which there are also intermediate oxides like WO2 and W4. If the components of blue tungsten oxide are calculated by WO, its W content would be 82.13%. Its W content is much more than WO3. According to the product standard of BTO, the WO3 content should be 99.95%, among which W content is 80.00%~80.80%.
Producing Method
Blue tungsten oxide is one of the raw material for producing tungsten powder. Reducing tungsten powder from BTO is easy to control its grain size and doping other elements in the tungsten powder reduction process. BTO is gradually taking place of yellow tungsten oxide as the raw material of tungsten powder and tungsten products. BTO producing method includes: APT calcination method, APT hydrogen reduction method and reduction method.
Packing
In iron drums with double inner sealed plastic bag of 50kgs or 100kgs net each.
